    About Us

    Our Vision

New Generation Community Art Center is a free art program that provides a youth advisory board and promotes creativity, independence, self-esteem, and self-respect within our youth. They will feel valued and gain a sense of self-awareness through the discovery of art.

We strive to help our youth overcome obstacles they may face daily by problem-solving through various art projects and performances.

      Two Different Skits

I love teaching drama to students who want to learn something new. To see their smiles and creativity brings tears to my eyes. These students learn stage direction, projection of their voices, facial expression, body movement, use of space, how to do clean transitions, and finish strong.

      Girls Rock Event

When I was growing up, I loved dancing all the time. I took a dance class when I got older. I decided to teach young girls and boys how to dance. It happened! That is why I want to talk about these young girls. These young girls had the opportunity to dance at a Girls Rock event in Milwaukee, WI. I was so impressed with them. They worked hard every day with each other to learn different dance routines. There were a lot of challenges that came up during rehearsal time, but we overcame them. I believe in the power of togetherness. How about you?

SPEAK LOUD:Poetry Slam For High School Students

Poetry, also called verse, is a personal expression of ideas, thoughts, and feelings that conveys a clear message to others. These young ladies are performing at a high school slam. They did a great job.
